Anchor Hocking Fiesta Bands Rings Stripes Cinnabar Drinking Glas

This neat set of five drinking glasses were made by Anchor Hocking and feature alternating rings or stripes of dark red (maroon) and white. I think they are Fiesta Bands that were suppose to coordinate with Fiesta Ware made by Homer Laughlin. When I go on the Fiesta Ware site and check their colors, the one these look closest to is cinnabar. That color was started in 2000.

They measure 4.75" tall by 2.5" across the top. They hold 9.5 ounces. The paint is bright and in good shape except on one glass were the top red band has a spot of paint that was rubbed..it looks like possibly when the paint was applied.

]]>This is a neat plant waterer by Holt Howard...a little yellow bird with it's mouth open for water that it holds and feed to a potted plant as it needs it. It has been used and has some lime deposit in it's mouth. 6" long by 2.75" wide. Bright colors of yellow, green and black. White spot on tail looks like something stuck to it...white paint? It is think but I can't get it to come off.

Blue & Green Flattened Oval Forato Seed Glass Vase

]]>This hand blown flattened oval art glass vase was made with a hole in the middle that goes clear through the vase. This style is called "forato" in Italian. The seed glass has tiny bubbles throughout and they make a neat effect as they get stretched going into the hole. The fire polished rim starts in blue but gradually changes to a vibrant yellow-green below the hole. One side of the hole has folds in the green glass that I tried to show in a photo. The base is ground and polished. The vase is 10" high, 5.5" wide, and 3" deep.

]]>This minature Frankoma Thunderbird Vase is #506 and is Ada clay. It's color is old gold that was used from 1934-1942. The bottom has Frankoma pressed into the clay and the number 506. There are chips in the glaze along the edges and around the neck. I've tried to show these in the photos. The vase is 3.75" tall.

A corner of the back cover has a crease from being bent back. It is Mae Ehrhart's book as signed inside front cover. There are some signatures on the back cover page. Otherwise, binding is good. Included are two 1926 commencement programs for the 24th Annual Commencement at Western Illinois. 8" by 11".

]]>I believe these are mid-century Libbey Glass. The two matching stemmed martini pitchers and one stemmed glass are decorated with different hats..fireman, opera, polo, band. Each hat is on a frosted square and done in gold with black outline. The set is quite unique and only came with the one stemmed martini glass which is almost 4" tall. Pitchers are 6.75" tall by 3.25" across the top.

]]>This bennington brown or dark rockingham sponge yellowware bowl has flared sides and measures 9.5" across the top. The bottom is 6.5" across. It has three pontil marks on the bottom and what looks like three on the bottom on the bowl inside. There is some wear to the shine in the bowl also from use. The outside edge does have several chips of varying sizes. I've tried to show these in the photos. The bottom also looks like it has an 8 incised in the clay before firing.

Regensburg Demi Cup & Saucer KHM of Bavaria

]]>This is a nice porcelain souvenir demitasse cup and saucer from the medieval town of Regensburg on the Danube River. It is marked on the bottom with the crown KHM and Bavaria below that. There are opalescent sections alternating with reddish-brown sections and all decorated with gold scrollwork. There is some wear to the reddish-brown on the plate and on one section on the cup. It looks like the spot on the cup is from display leaning back against the plate that would be on edge behind it. You can see it in the photo of the cup's bottom. Cup is 1.5" tall by 3" across top not including handle. Plate is 4 5/8" across. Plate has some wear of gold edging. No chips or cracks.

]]>I love this little bowl and I am calling it Rocky Mountain Pottery although it has no markings to that effect. It has the green glazed insides. And the outside is either unglazed or a matte glaze. The texture and the oak leaves with acorns pattern is just wonderful and gives it that earthy feel and look. No chips or cracks. 5.5" across by 2.25" tall. I found it at an estate sale in Rutledge, MO!

A green one reads Anchor Hocking 19 (logo) 320 Made in USA. Each has some wear to points in the design when held to a light. The yellow bowl a few small spots in the brown. Insides are shiny and look new.

Lefton Fruit Tile Cast Iron Trivet Japan

]]>I didn't know that Lefton made a cast iron trivet, but here it is! It has a ceramic tile insert that has a grouping of fruit decorating it. The tile measures 4.25" by 4.25". On the back of the iron it is stamped JAPAN. The original red and gold foil label of Lefton is on the back of the tile and reads: Lefton's REG. U.S. PAT. OFF EXCLUSIVES JAPAN. The piece is in good condition but the white paint is wearing thin in places which gives it that shabby look. Overall measurement is 9.5" by 5.25"

These have been used and the plates have some utensil scratches but still have good shine. The blue design also has some loss of paint mainly in the lines on the outer edge. The cups look brand new. (The dinner plates shown in the photo on the bottom have sold so they are not included.)

]]>This is a set of 20 pieces of Blue Garland China by Johann Haviland, Bavaria, Germany. A discontinued pattern, the blue garland is made of small blue flowers on a white background with platinum edging. The pattern was made from 1937-1960s. This set includes four 10" dinner plates, four 6.25" bread & butter plates, four cups and saucers, and four 5 1/8" dessert or sauce bowls. They all look like new. Dinner plates may have one small scratch on surface but it is from stacking. Wonderful shine. Photos are with and without flash.

Modern Danish West Germany Coffeepot Set Blue Purple Green

This is a West Germany Coffeepot set with matching creamer and sugar. The white pieces are decorated with a band of blue, green, purple dots in a geometric pattern. The sugar and pot have solid blue lids. Bottoms have raised rectangle with West Germany raised inside. Numbers are raised and are 030 on the creamer, 020 on the sugar, and 028 on the serving pot.

The coffeepot or teapot has a crack at the rim that extends down the side 2.5" and stops. There is also a crack in the inside bottom that was formed when the pot was fired I believe. On the outside bottom you can see the glaze breaks going down the side of the 8 in the number 028 and then the side of the raised rectangle. This is exactly where the crack is shown on the inside. Pot is 10" tall with lid and 9" across including handle and spout.

Creamer is 2 3/8" tall by 5.5" wide. Sugar is 3.5" tall by 4" wide. Creamer & sugar are in excellent condition. The creamer and sugar can be purchased separately..just email me.

West Germany red stamp on pot and sugar.

This 27 piece set of Johnson Bros. Gretchen Green is transferware that has yellow & red flowers with green leaves on a tan background. Backstamp reads Staffordshire Old Granite Made in England by Johnson Bros, A Genuine Hand Engraving, All Decoration Under the Gllaze Detergent & Acid Resisting Colour, Gretchen. Gretchen is a discontinued china made from 1974-1978.

Set includes:

1 creamer 3.5"
1 sugar with lid 4.5" tall
2 coffee cups 2 5/8" tall
1 cereal bowl 6.5"
3 dinner plates 10"
8 saucers 5.75"
7 bread & butter plates 6.5"

Dinner plates are really used--see closeup. Salad plates have several utensil scratches. Bread & Butter plates have an occasional utensil scratch but overall still nice and shiny. Saucers have an occasional small scratch. Cups look new--one has a scratch in the bottom of the cup. Cream & sugar look new. Cereal bowl has lots of small scratches.

This Bodum teapot is perfect to brew tea for 2 or more people. The center column is plastic and used to brew loose tea or bagged tea. Just heat up and when brewing is done push the plunger down and the brewing stops. The depressed plunger also holds and locks the tea leaves or bags so no liner is needed. ]]>Adorable Charming Tails mice sit on a stump overlooking a candy dish sitting in a bed of wild roses. Lydia Ladybug is atop another small stump to the side of the dish. 93/210. Made of resin, this is a lovely decorative collectable. It stands 4.25" tall by approx. 5.5" across. Clear candy dish is 1.75" tallby 3.75" across the top. It comes with original Charming Tails by Fitz and Floyd box but the styrofoam that holds the dish inside the box has some corners torn off.

]]>This is a beautiful cream hand tooled leather purse made in Mexico. It shows a bullfighter scene on the front and a sundial on the back. Measures 14" by 10" by 4". Inside is butterscotch color and has three large compartments and three side pockets. Three spots on the handles. Purse looks to be never used. It still has it's price tag of $330. This is a beautiful ornate Victorian 2 piece set that includes a compote style ashtray and the matching cigarette lighter. The ashtray is in the EAPG Prescut "Star of David" pattern and sits on a brass pedestal with a marble base. The glass ashtray measures 7.75" across by 1.5" tall and has for slots for cigarettes. The glass is .5 to .75" thick with no chips or cracks. The brass button that holds the ashtray on the stem is tarnished. The metal pedestal is quite ornate and sits on a 4" square of Italian marble. The whole piece is 8.25" tall. The clear crystal gem is plastic which I am sure is to help keep the weight down. The piece weighs 4.75 lbs.

The cigarette lighter is 9" tall. The lighter comes out of the holder to be filled. It clicks but did get stuck once and I got it to correct. It has no lighter fluid in it to try it out and the wick looks new and unused. The plastic crystal has some fogginess at the top and a water markthat comes down into the first row of diamonds. The brass base designs on each piece match each other.

]]>This plate is handpainted with a yellow pear, peach, cherries, and grapes. It has very vivid colors. The gold edging does show some wear. The back has the Lefton's sticker which is worn some and faded. Backstamp is crown with Lefton China and Hand Painted around it. The back is also stamped 6927 and has two holes for string or wire to hang the plate. It is 8 1/8" across and sits 1" tall when on a table.

This pretty lustre mustache mug or barber cup has a Made in Germany square stamp on the bottom and the number 16. It has 'Think of me.' in gold lettering above pink flowers with a three leafed clover to the side. Flowers and clover are outlined in an applied raised texture that is painted over with gold. It has a greyish-green lustre coating washed over the rest of the cup but it is not solid in color...the shine is really good. It is 3 1/8" tall by 3.25" across the top. Graphics are only on the front of the cup.

Around the base of the highball glasses is printed Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, The Old Taylor Distillery Co., Frankfort, Kentucky. The glasses have gold around the rim with one showing a little gold wear but the others look new. They are 3.25" tall by 3.25" across.

]]>This is the first set I have found that pictures two feather art birds in the picture. I believe these to be bird of paradise and they are quite colorful on the black background. Framed and under glass, these measure 10" by 12". They are wired and ready to hang. Frames look to be oak with the moulding 1.25" wide. One bird has a hole in a red tail feather and in a white feather on its check.

Feathercraft history sticker on back with Casa "Flores D", Mexico City stated at bottom. The yellow fringe feathers in the tail does have one spot where a feather has came loose and some bug damage in another spot.

]]>This set of two framed Mexican Feathercraft pictures are on a white background and framed with handcarved cedar frames. They each measure a large 18" by 10.75" including the frame. The birds are in orange, black, and grayish-green feathers. Each are signed Mexico and under glass. Only one has the story of Feathercraft on the back. Both are wired on the back ready to hang. On one, the points of the nails have came through the frame to the front so it needs to be handled carefully.

Made of black pebble textured leather, this vintage purse is by Dooney & Bourke and has the red, white, and blue label inside. The purse also has the brass Dooney & Bourke Fob on the outside. When you left the flap the front edge of the purse has a leather strip that reads, \"All-Weather Leather\". On the back of the purse is a pocket and inside there are two pockets, one with a zipper. There are six brass feet on the bottom of the purse and the latch and buckle are brass. The buckle on the approximately 48\" shoulder strap does show some tarnish (see buckle in second photo). The inside leather bottom has a few shiny spots that were possibly nail polish and a couple small white spots that I can\'t wipe away. Purse measures 7.5" tall by 8" across by 4" deep.

This 10.75" plate is made in the Patrician mold by Wedgwood China of England. A7945 is written on the back along with the Wedgwood logo. The design has green swirls accented with gold striping and dots. Plate has no chips or cracks but does have crazing. I think you can see it in the closeup.
