Homer Laughlin Rambler Rose Oval Covered Vegetable Bowl Bottom

This is the bottom of a Homer Laughlin oval covered vegetable bowl in the rambler rose pattern. It measures 11" across including the handles by 7.5" by 3 3/8" tall.

It has some small utensil scratches but you can't see them unless you hold the bowl to the light. I did not think there were any until closer inspection with the light. This china piece has great shine. It does have some light stains along lip. Some of the gold is worn along one side of the bowl edge. Handle gold and gold around base looks complete.

Bottom is stamped with the green Eggshell Georgian Homer Laughlin Made in USA stamp.

This pattern was made around 1943. I also have the matching tea pot listed in the store.

Homer Laughlin Rambler Rose Tea Pot American Vogue Pink Roses

This is a lovely and rare find! A Homer Laughlin Rambler Rose Tea Pot that was made around 1943. Replacements.com describes it as American Vogue...pink rose center surrounded by pink rosebuds with gold trim. It measures 6 1/8" to lip, 8.5" to top of knob on the lid. This china piece is a 5 cup size.

It has no stains from use on the inside and no chips or cracks or crazing. Some gold is worn off the stripe on the top of the knob. There are some fine scratches in a few places in the gold stripe around the edge of the lid. The gold around the spout and on the handle shows no wear.

The bottom is stamped Eggshell Georgian Homer Laughlin Made in USA D51N5 in green.

This is a seven piece place setting of china by Eschenbach in pattern P485. Pieces are as follows: a 10.5" dinner plate, footed cup and saucer, 6.25" bread and butter plate, 7.75" coupe salad plate, a rimmed soup bowl, and a berry bowl. All are in like new condition with no chips or cracks. I have 11 sets available. I also have a 12th set but the cup has a crack. If you are interested in the last set, you will need to email me.

Eschenbach was a German porcelain company founded in 1906 in Windischeschenbach, Germany. After WW II, much of the china molds, brochures, and documentation was lost. To start up again, the factory used molds from the defunct Porzellan-Manufaktur Allach-München G.m.b.H. which was mainly ornamental plates and tableware. The factory then went through an expansion and modernization period during the first ten years after World War II. They built a total of five tunnel kilns to keep up with production. Bought out by Triptis in 2000, Triptis filed for bankruptcy in 2004. It reopened as a member of a group that included Eschenbach, Freiberger Hotelporzellan, Triptis and Winterling brands.

A super nice Corning Ware Visions 5 quart dutch oven with lid and steam and boil basket! Even better, it has non-stick teflon in the bottom. This item is in cranberry glass which is very pretty.

The steam and boil basket is a wire basket with handles that sits down in the dutch oven and it is grooved so the dutch oven lid sits on it and seals the pan while it cooks.

Corning Visions cookware was discontinued around 1992. This is a rare find to find this item complete and in like new condition. Would be a great Christmas present! Great for anyone who is allergic or sensitive to metals.

Shapes of Clay Squirrel By Stan Lantwait Mt. St. Helens

Stan Langtwait was a logger back in the 50s and was always molding shapes out of mud and clay. He would put them on tree stumps to dry during the day while he worked and would collect them at the end of his day. So starting sometime in the 1950s, he started using locally found clay to create pottery known as "Shapes of Clay" at his factory in Graham, WA.

After the eruption of Mount St. Helens in 1980, Stan started incorporating volcanic ash from the mountain into his works.

This squirrel is one of Stan Langtwain's "ash pieces". It stands approximately 4 1/2" tall by 2 1/2" wide x 4 1/2" deep. It is a great piece of work with lots of interesting texture. Signed "Stan" on the bottom in the clay.

Mr. Langtwait has passed on but it is said he produced his clay works up till his death.

This is a beautiful Mexican serving bowl that measures 9" across the top by 4" tall. A bird sits atop a six petaled flower with other flowers,greenery, and feathers all in turquoise, blues, greens, browns and white. A butterfly floats over the centerpiece also. Background is a light gray with a mottled brown-blue band around the top edge. Outside walls of the bowl are light gray with no other decorations. It is a Ken Edwards piece of pottery that is signed with a turtle I believe. The bottom says Turquesa, Mexico and then has the turtle signature. Ken Edwards had many talented potters that worked for him and they each signed their pieces with an animal or bird.

The bowl does have a chip on the bottom of the foot of the bowl. You should be able to see it in the closeup photo. It has no other chips or cracks.

]]>These are so shabby pretty with the roses inside the four cups and their outsides in half cream with a raised woven texture and the lower half a pastel color...two are yellow, one is pink, and one is blue. I wonder if they are Homer Laughlin but I am not sure. Two have some age spots in the bottom of the cup. I try to show them in one of the photos. One of the yellow cups has two small chips on the outer edge of the rim directly across from the handle on the opposite side. The cups are 2.25" tall by 3 5/8" across the top. Handles have a gold stripe and does the foot of each cup.

]]>I believe this to be the bottom of a hair catcher or vanity jar. It has a beautiful iridescent color on the inside of the bowl. The outside is lavender with a gold band around the top and three gold legs or feet. Bottom is stamped GDA France and possible initials...CA or LA... at base of one of the legs. 2.75" tall by 4.25" across the mouth. It is 4.75" across the widest part of dish. There are a few spots on the very top edge of the lip where the lavender is showing through where the gold has worn off or was never painted on.

]]>This is a lovely rectangular vintage bonsai box or planter in green decorated on both sides with white bonsai trees. The leaves are white applied gravel that reminds me of mica on the vintage Christmas ornaments. The bottom of the planter has the number 31 scratched into the glaze. Someone has also written 1957 with a grease pencil on the bottom so this could be the year this piece of pottery was made. It measures 6" by 4" at the top.

]]>This cute figurine depicting the nursery rhyme, Hickory Dickory Dock, is vintage and may be by Ucagco. The number on the bottom is 47/70. This blonde girl stands beside the tall grandfather clock which the mouse has already ran up and sits on the top. The girl has applied lace on her skirt which is missing in places. Also the paper label on the front of the platform is torn in places but you can still make out Hickory Dickory Dock. I cannot find any chips or cracks. It measures 6.25" tall by 3.5" across front of platform by 1 7/8" along side of platform.

]]>This is a vintage Wechtersbach Spain piece with the red heart flower design. It measures 2 3/8" tall by 5.25" across the top. The heart design is on front and back with a red striping around the top. There is a chip on the rim over the striping that you can see in the photo. Otherwise, it looks brand new with no chips or cracks. I also have the matching teapot, creamer and sugar, and three coffee mugs available in this design for sale.

Such a neat looking design on this vintage Waechtersbach Spain teapot...a red flower on white but the flower is a red heart on a thin green stem with one leaf. A matching red stripe around the bottom of the lid finishes the look of this vintage teapot. No chips or cracks and looks like it was never used. 7.5 inches tall to top of knob. 9.5" wide from spout to include handle. This is a large teapot and holds approximately five cups. This set seemed to go together in some vintage clothing I bought at an estate sale. The white shell top is Ship 'n Shore size 32 and made of easy care polyester and cotton. Bust is 21" armpit to armpit. 18.5" front neckline to hem. 2" slits in front.

The green plaid skirt has a waistband and a wide panel down the front and back. It has a 27" waist and 23" length. Side zipper is metal and has a large hook and eye for closure. It had a second eye to make it adjustable but it is gone. The skirt is homemade.

Pretty red and navy blue plaid on beige, this vintage plaid jumper dress is made out of an acrylic fabic that has a loosely woven look but is bonded on the back with a white knit. Homemade, it has a long metal zipper in back with a hook and eye at the top.

Bust is 19" armpit to armpit. Length is 35.25". Shown with a navy blue cotton Shapley Classic turtleneck that can be included if you want it. I have washed these but the turtleneck looks faded.

This is a neat vintage polyester knit pantsuit in pink and white checks from the 60s or 70s. It is homemade. The long jacket has pockets and a sash belt. Pants have an elastic waist and sewn creases.

Jacket has a 19" bust, 24" sleeve with button cuffs, and is 26.5" in length from the back neckline. Pants have a 16" waist without stretching the elastic and a 24" inseam with a 1" hem.

Shoulders are tabs sewn together and missing their buttons. I haven't had time to check my buttons to see if I have any matching ones I could sew on. Back has a metal zipper.

Bust is 19.5" across front

Waist is 16.5" across front.

Length is 34.5" from the front neckline to hem.

Neat vintage 1950s day dress with a Miss Berkshire label! In various shades of brown with tan and black stripes. Sweet neckline has a mock collar with an accent tie like a corsage. The front has buttons down the front that are mother-of-pearl with metal stems. Shoulders have shoulder pads. Flared skirt has a pleat in back for more room. Dress is missing a belt as there are belt loops at the sides. A black belt would still look nice with this dress. Has one hidden pocket in the side seam on the right.

Bust is 20" across from armpit to armpit.

Waist is 15" across front. There is a black snap at the waistline.

Length is 49.5".

Sleeves are 10" with a 1.5" cuff.

Fabric is a polyester/cotton blend.

The pencil skirt has a 27" waist and 38" hips. Length is 23.5". It has a nylon zipper and hook and eye closure.

The Acme Thunderer Brass Whistle Made in England

This old brass whistle was made in England by a company founded by Joseph Hudson in the 1800's. It was his invention to replace the big police whistle of that time that rattled. This model was made for military or police work. On the front is The Acme Thunderer name and on the side is the stamped shield log for the Meyer New York and Army Navy Equipment with Made in England underneath. Through the slot the cork ball or "pea" is visible. The size and weight of the pea determines the sound of the whistle.

Has a nice leather strap and brass hook. Natural patina--it has not been cleaned.

2 1/8" long by .75" wide. Made in the 1930s-40s. A piece of history.

]]>This 5.25" tall yellow basketweave canister is stamped on the bottom with the Hotta Yu Shoten & Co. logo. This dates it to the 1920s-30s. Handpainted and Made in Japan, it has a light brown trim with floral design and a label area outlined in a thin black line. Piece has crazing overall but no chips or cracks. The lid trim has a smudge which you can see in the photo that had to be done when it was being made. 3 7/8" square.

]]>This is a nice vintage cufflinks and tie bar set made by "Styled by Lloyd". Set of cufflinks are 3/4" round silver-tone with black streaks discs with an imitation pearl sitting off-center in a smaller black circle.

Quite striking and in the Art Deco style I think. Clip-on 1.5" tie bar is of the same design with a smaller pearl. Look brand new and never worn.

Vintage original box is completely metal covered with cream textured top and black bottom. No signature on the jewelry.
